More than expected

I’ve bought Dude1 for vlogging and general action camera use
The kit arrived quickly, neatly packed with clear instructions, just how it should
At first glance it looked sturdy, good quality materials used, not some cheap plastic Everything fits like a glove, really smooth but with solid connections
The cherry on the top was to discover a small eyelid to attach a cord of some sort. Instantly Dude1 became essential part of family holidays, not only my bike riding
Snorkelling with action camera securely attached to my wrist was a completely new lever of enjoyment
Kids loved it in aquapark, and no stress that camera will get lost
Although, for piece of mind I’ll order Dee Tag
So, generally speaking if you’re a biker who wants to have a great footage or you are just looking to discover more fun with your action camera, Dude1 is the kit for you

Absolutely great bit of kit

Absolutely great bit of kit. Arrived today looks great the quality is top notch. I can not wait to up my game on the bike videos with better variation of angles! No more boring chin mounted POV only videos!

Wow, this is great!

Came in well packaged, simple but very efficient box. The delivery was well fast, and tracked! Inside, you get the product and a manual, which is clear and straightforward.

The grip itself, the Dude1, is really well made! When you hold it, you can feel the quality of it, as well the ruggedness. Feels like it can take a beating and will still work! Also, it does feel that you get what you pay for, no flimsy parts, everything fits together like a glove.

Installing it on my motorbike was easy, as it uses the usual RAM ball mount or your standard gopro mount.

I'm more than happy with it, can't wait to go on an adventure with it (ABR, here I come!!)

What's in the box?

The default kit includes:

DUDE 1 - It's your holder. You can attach your camera to it. You can also add an additional modular Dee•Tag (AitTag case) - not included.
Two DeeBases - there are two types. DeeBase•G for GoPro-like mount, and DeeBase•B for popular 1" ball bracket.

You can add more DeeBases, but it is not necessary to start using your DUDE 1.

DeeBase•B vs DeeBase•G

B stands for "ball" - a typical one-inch ball bracket mount. This mount gives ultimate flexibility in where to mount it. But don't use a longer ball bracket - it may cause extra wobbling.

G stands for "GoPro" - a very popular mounting system adopted by other well-known brands such as DJI or Insta360. This mount provides a super-stiff, firm, and steady connection but less vertical balance.

Multiple locations

You can pop it on multiple DeeBases. Simply attach each DeeBase•G or DeeBase•B to your motorbike and then switch between them in no time.

You can rotate the DUDE 1 through 360° with 8 evenly spread points to lock it into place every 45°. There's no need to pop it off, simply grab it and rotate. It's that easy!

Safe? ...even upside down?

DUDE 1 stays in place even if you drop your motobike. It took 4 years of testing and improving. 10.000 miles later... It has never fallen off, for peace of mind, you can add a lanyard... and the Dee•Tag module.

Big winter gloves on?

No problem at all... DUDE 1 is designed to be super easy to operate. Two big buttons to release from DeeBase, even works when wearing thick winter gloves.

Dee•Tag is a waterproof case for your AirTag — built to go wherever you do. It’s fully modular, so you can snap it straight onto your DUDE 1. You won’t lose it… But you might still forget where you left it.

What is it made of?

Nylon/Polypropylene-like.

It essentially means you don’t need to worry. The item is durable enough to withstand knocks, drops, exposure to sand, and even water. The only potential long-term effect is that prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause the colour to fade slightly.

The answer is - any. You can attach DeeBase to the handlebars - One or two inches in diameter... it doesn't matter. Can also attach Deebase to any part of your motobike. Guards, rails, etc.

Primarily, DUDE 1 is designed for action cameras. Big cameras like the Sony FX3 or similar are too heavy.

DUDE 1 will stay in place... period. Just remember about wind when you move it from one DeeBase to another.

No. DUDE 1 comes in just one optimal length. The size is similar to handlebar grips.

It is your responsibility to attach DUDE 1 to the DeeBase correctly. Once DUDE 1 clicks in, it will stay in place. Over four years of use (more than 10.000 miles), it never fell off.

You can attach a laynard for extra safety - DUDE 1 has a special hole for it.

You can have as many DeeBases as you want. It doesn't have to be just one motobike... and don't forget you can attach DeeBase to the car... or boat.

Yes... to any DeeBase attached correctly to anything. Just remember - don't use sticker pads. DeeBase has to be attached firmly and securely.
